Come and enjoy a free fun day with the family on Saturday 24 July, on Westerleigh plaing fields, from 12.30 until 5pm.
For your enjoyment, we have a bouncy castle, face painting, and good old-fashioned competitions for all ages: welly wanging, hit the wicket, sack race, beat the goalie, and many more.
Tea and cake will be available in the village hall, but you will need to pay for these.
Bring a picnic and join in the fun.
South Glos Council has announced additional community testing because of the mutated virus variant in the area.
South Glos Council is urging everyone over 16 in the designated postcode sector areas to please get tested. "The more cases of the mutation we find, the better chance we have at suppressing it. Please help to keep your community safe by getting tested so we can find the variant and protect you and your loved ones".
SGC's news release is here.
An update is here . In addition to these sites, South Glos Council has announced 3 "Collect and drop" sites, which will be open to collect self-test kits to take home. After testing youself, you can return the kits to the same site for analysis.
The sites will be open from 9am until 5pm, 7 days a week. They are:
